A Firing Tale

Way back in 2012 Leah Remini was summarily fired from the CBS daytime talk show, The Talk.

True to form, renowned diva, Leah Remini threw a fit in the wake of her public firing. She simply couldn’t accept that it was in any way connected to her personality or lack of professionalism.

Taking to Twitter, the preferred platform for modern hate-speech and disinformation campaigns, she pointed the finger of blame squarely at Sharon Osbourne as being responsible for her firing. She went on to explain that Sharon thought her ‘ghetto, not funny, awkward, and didn’t know herself” — Ouch!

While the above certainly has more than a little ring of truth to it, the facts don’t bear out on Remini’s side (as is far too often the case). Osbourne denied Remini’s claims in a statement saying:

In response to Leah Remini’s continuous comments that I had her fired from The Talk, let me just go on the record to say I had absolutely nothing to do with her departure from the show and have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip. That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional and childish behavior… It’s time to move on!”
