Mr. and Mrs. Arielle Silverstein

Tony Ortega is a fake news monger who, under no circumstances should be trusted. The same goes for the shady individuals he chooses to associate with. Here on the blog we’ve discussed a number of Tony Ortega’s known accomplices, all whom have demonstrated themselves time and again to be at best unreliable and unethical, at worst dangerously comprised.

It’s with that in mind that we turn our attention this week once more to Tony Ortega’s “ethically compromised” wife, Arielle Irena Silverstein.

By this point it is a matter of record that in 2011, Arielle Silverstein joined the cyberterrorist group known as Anonymous and started posting reams of anti-religious hate speech on the group’s forum using the pseudonym Bozuri among her many other aliases.

It was under (what she believed to be) this cover of anonymity that Silverstein worked to publicize a sickening stunt orchestrated by Anonymous which they mockingly dubbed “ Everybody Draw Mohammed Day”. The stunt was designed to offended millions of Muslims worldwide, and it did exactly that.

An avowed religion-despising atheists Arielle Silverstein went out of her way to repeatedly insult other faiths and their followers. Nor did her hate speech play favorites, as she calculatingly included Christians and Jews in her rabid attacks on people of faith.

In an age when anonymity online no longer exists, it was only a matter of time until Arielle Silverstein was exposed as the author of the poison-pen anonymous postings. She is accountable to her employer, the United Nations, for posting during work hours and inciting religious strife from within the very walls of UN headquarters in direct contravention of the UN mandate – all while using UN computers to do her dirty work.

There is simply no way around the fact that Arielle Silverstein was secretly undermining the foundation of the Charter of the United Nations and one of its key mission statements: “promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.”

Silverstein was contractually obligated to abide by UN Staff Rules mandating that any UN employee shall, and we quote here:

[A]void any action and, in particular, any kind of public pronouncement that may adversely reflect on their status, or on the integrity, independence and impartiality that are required by that status.”

One would think that as a member of the notorious cyber-terrorist group Anonymous, Arielle Silverstein might have realized that just as there is no such thing as “anonymity” anymore, hate speech once posted online can never totally be erased. Not even by UN computers.

Today, Silverstein mainly channels her bigotry through her sock puppet husband, Tony Ortega, who spends his ample free time as an unemployed layabout shopping his anti-religious propaganda to lowlife tabloid media in a vain hope for some measure of relevancy.

Of course the last time Tony Ortega was “relevant” (and we use that word cautiously) things didn’t quite go his way. It was during his last period of regular employment, now nearly half a decade ago, that he acted as chief propagandist-at-large for the child sex trafficking website Backpage dot com.

As readers of this blog will remember, that shameful affair ended abruptly when it was forcibly shut down enforcement and its principals under federal indictment.

Now if authorities would only follow through with the task and shutter Tony Ortega and his bigotry-spewing wife we might all be better off.
